Affiliate marketing is the process of creating your own content and driving traffic from your content to someone else's product or service. When someone makes a purchase after you've referred them, you make money through affiliate commissions. It's really that simple.

You can start with affiliate marketing immediately. You can do it part-time or make it your full-time gig. The cool thing about it is many people make a full-time living with affiliate marketing while only doing it part-time.

If you're going to spend time, energy and money learning something, why not learn something that will pay you big money. That's exactly what can happen with affiliate marketing if you take it seriously and commit to your success.

Let's get into how to make money with affiliate marketing in 6 easy steps:

1. Create A Website/YouTube channel or both

When you start as an affiliate marketer, you're going to need a place to create content in your niche. I definitely recommend setting up a website on WordPress. This will be the hub for your business. There are many different ways you can start a website very inexpensively, such as: Hostgator and Bluehost, but the one i've always used and recommend is Godaddy. 2. Choose A Niche

As an affiliate marketer, you'll be promoting other people's products and services. Companies all around the world have thousands of products you're going to be able to promote, but if you try to promote everything, you'll make nothing. Choose a niche you're at least interested in, because you're going to be creating content in this niche for years to come.

3. Pick A Product Or Service To Promote

There are many different affiliate networks that allow you to choose their products and promote them for profit. Here are some of the top affiliate networks:

• Clickbank
• Shareasale
• Amazon Associates

4. Create Valuable Content In Your Niche

Now that you've decided to become an affiliate marketer, you need to start creating valuable content in the niche you've chosen. If you don't know what type of content to create, simply do a little search on Google Or YouTube on your topic of choice. Get ideas of what other people are sharing and teaching online, then model after them sharing what you learned with your own flavor.

5. Drive Traffic From Your Content To Your Offers

The only way you make money with affiliate marketing is if you get people to see your offer. There are a couple things you must to in order to do this correctly.

• Capture Leads - Instead of sending traffic from your content directly to your offer, you're going to entice them to give you their name and email address by giving them something for free. This can be an E-book, free download or course. You can use the most popular landing page service called Clickfunnels for this.
• Follow-up with you leads - Most people don't purchase something the first time they see it. In fact, experts say it takes seven exposures before someone decides to buy. This is where Email marketing comes into play. Since you've captured the lead with a capture page, not you follow-up with them through email using an e-mail autoresponder. At time of writing this post I use GetResponse and I love it.

6. Hone Your Skills And Commit To Getting Better

This process that I've just walked you through allowed me to generate thousands of leads and make my first $10,000 online. The process is not that complicated, however, most people fail it because they lack vision.
